Paediatric First Aid

Outline

This 2 day course will run on Monday 8th & 15th October 2018.

Description

This course equips you with essential skills and knowledge to deal with first aid accidents and emergencies for children in your care. This course meets the requirements of the EYFS.

Over two workshops you will receive training from qualified professionals. You will be provided with reference materials plus you will have the opportunity to practice your new skills.

Outcomes

You will receive a certificate of achievement for a full course consistent with the criteria set out in Annex A of the EYFS, 2017.

‘At least one person who has a current full paediatric first aid certificate must be on the premises and available at all times when children are present.’ Please check ‘Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage’ (3.25, April 17) for staff training requirements.
