Come and join Support Services for Education for their 2019 conference: ‘Health and Wellbeing for Staff and Students'.

The all-day event will take place at Westlands Conference Centre, Yeovil on Friday 8 March 2019 and will include 12 workshops.

Description

The packed day will be full of workshops and sessions led by our support services and event sponsors, a chance to browse a wide range of stands in the exhibition hall, and opportunities to network with colleagues from across Somerset and beyond.

We are delighted to announce the following Keynote Speakers will be attending the conference:

Andrew Whitehouse – A SEN consultant, who is an experienced educator having held leadership, teaching and outreach roles in a range of settings. He has extensive training and experience in the inclusion of learners with ADHD, Autism, Asperger Syndrome, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), Dyspraxia and Dyslexia. In addition to his work as a trainer, Andrew actively provides outreach services to educational settings nationwide.

Anna Williamson – A TV presenter, author and life coach, known for her bestselling book, 'Breaking Mad' and appearing on shows such as Inside Out, The National Lottery Xtra and Celebs Go Dating. Anna is also a Mind Ambassador and mental health campaigner.

Our exhibition hall will feature stands from our SSE and SCC services as well as: 2IT Systems, TheSchoolBus, AV1 Robots, Schools Buying Hub, Oxford University Press and more!

Booking Information

The booking fee is £25 (to cover administration costs).

Unfortunately one of the breakout rooms is situated at the top of a flight of stairs and has no wheelchair access. If you are a wheelchair user, have difficulty walking up stairs, or have any other special requirements, please indicate these in the box below. This will help us to make sure that we are able to accommodate your needs on the day.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided at the conference. Please indicate any dietary requirements in the box below.
